  1. I-17 North Exit 223B (AZ74 W)
  2. Merge right onto AZ 74 W (Carefree Highway)
  3. Continue toward Lake Pleasant for 8 miles
  4. Turn right onto 87th Ave.
  5. After 2 miles, turn left into W Harbor Blvd to get to the gate and Pay Station. The current entrance is $7 (subject to change).
  6. Just past the entrance, turn right, then left towards Dillon’s Restaurant.
  7. You will see a sign for Vista Point. Follow the blue line on the map below. If you have a 4 wheel drive truck, you might prefer to follow the orange line.

Course Logistics

The AOW Diver course typically consists of one classroom session and two days of open water dives. The classroom session gives the instructor time to discuss the knowledge reviews with the student prior to doing the dives. Typically, we do three dives on the first day and two on the second but it can be spread out as needed.
